Burger week to go ahead in 2020

According to its event organizer, the Portland Mercury will once again be holding its annual Burger Week with $5 one-of-a-kind burgers being served at a variety of venues.

Dozens of restaurants, brewhouses and bars participate in what many may consider the city’s most tasty yearly event.

For all around maximum enjoyment, diners should remember that this is a popular event and lines are almost a certainty, so be prepared and be patient. Also, rather than stopping at just ordering a specialty burger, they are urged try out some of the establishment’s other items such as side dishes and signature mixed drinks and newly created craft beers. Finally, the Portland Mercury urges patrons of the event to remember their servers and take into consideration the extra work that goes into a successful Burger Week, and tip accordingly.

When multiple locations are part of an event, printing services are frequently employed to create maps and guides to assist those interested in participating to find their way around and decide which locations they want to visits.

In 2019, 60 establishments took part in Burger Week, and vegetarian and vegan burgers were included. This year’s line-up is yet to be announced, but per usual there will be plenty of locations scattered throughout the city.

Many Portland residents eagerly await Burger Week, which this year will take place August 3 to 8.
