The Blanchet House’s 7th annual brunch is being held this year as a free virtual event to raise money to support the nonprofit’s meal and shelter services.
Blanchet House depends on the monies raised by the annual brunch, which has grown to include over 400 supporters. With this year’s brunch being conducted online the group hopes to expand its donor list.
Marketing is not just for profitable ventures; nonprofits need Stationery printers to promote themselves as well.
Located in downtown Portland, Blanchet House is dedicated to offering assistance however it can. Although the organization’s founders were part of the Catholic community, the organization has no religious affiliation.
Six days a week the group provides breakfast, lunch and dinner at its Founders Café. Everyone is welcome to eat; no questions asked. Last year, with the help of financial and food donors and volunteers, over 300,000 meals were provided to those without access to food.
Two transitional shelter programs are operated by Blanchet House for men dealing with addiction, mental health issues or unemployment. Residents in the Blanchet House program contribute to the community by preparing and serving food in the Founders Café. Those in the Blanchet Farm program maintain the 62-acre farm in Carlton, Oregon where they take part in gardening, animal husbandry and woodworking.
This year’s Helping Hand Brunch will take place virtually from 11 am – 12 pm on March 7, 2021.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
