Volunteer fair to come to Beaverton

The Beaverton Volunteer Fair will be held in a few days at the Beaverton City Library.

Members of the community are invited to participate in this event, which is designed to raise awareness about the community and local non-profit groups, with the goal to increase the number of volunteers and donations.

There will be over 30 non-profit and community organizations at the event this year, with a wide range of missions supporting the likes of public safety, wellness, health, animal care, the arts, and early literacy, among other causes. Booths will be both inside the library in Meeting Room AB and in the Cathy Stanton Room, as well as outside on the lawn of the library.

A community event like this may require banner printing and other custom printing services. These can be sourced from a print shop in the area and its team members can meet with its customers in person, online, or on the phone to determine their needs.

The Beaverton Chamber of Commerce created the Volunteer Fair in 2016 and it has been adopted by the city as an annual event. The goal is to engage business leaders and members of the community to take action to improve the community through education and awareness.

The Volunteer Fair will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm this Saturday, June 8.
