New sustainability officer named at Nike in Beaverton
Noel Kinder was recently appointed the new Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Nike, Inc. with headquarters in Beaverton.
The Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of Nike will be overseeing his position.
Kinder has been with Nike for 19 years. His previous positions have included General Manager, Nike Vietnam, LLC with responsibilities for all manufacturing operations. He has held other leadership roles in the company in the apparel and footwear divisions, and been involved in finance and strategic planning.
He is succeeding Hannah Jones. She spent 14 years in the position and will take over as President of Nike Valiant Labs, an in-house incubator for building prototypes, quickly testing and validating new ideas, and developing potential new avenues of business for the company.
President, CEO, and Chairman of Nike, Mike Parker, commented that a great deal of progress has been made by the company over the past 10 years, and he is excited about Noel’s abilities to build on the many accomplishments of his predecessor. He added that Jones will be playing an important role in leading innovations and changing the business models of the company.
Kinder’s new role becomes effective September 1.
When such changes in leadership roles occur, business card printing is often needed by companies such as Nike to print business cards for the people in their new positions.
