Pip’s Original Doughnuts & Chai, with one location on Northeast Fremont Street in Portland, will be opening a new store in Beaverton.
The eatery specializes in tiny, sweet doughnuts and five flavors of chai tea. The shop will be in Beaverton’s Old Town Hall at the corner of Southwest Broadway Street and Southwest Hall Boulevard. The co-owners are Jamie and Nate Snell.
Nate said they are looking forward to serving all those who previous travelled to Portland and could now enjoy the treats closer to home. Snell added that an incredibly special place has been created in the city.
Pip’s has a secret doughnut menu that changes with the flavors of the season. The doughnuts are made hot and fresh to order. Local Print shops can be hired on a regular basis to create Flyers and other printed material with such listings of seasonal flavors.
As Beaverton is often call the “sunset corridor,” the shop will be decorated with colors of the sunset. The Snells said that they did not want to duplicate the existing space, so this shop will be an experience completely focused on Beaverton, yet remaining true to the hospitality and spirit of the shop. The couple created the shop from the ground up and built the furniture, laid the tile, painted the floors and walls, and selected the lighting and all the décor.
