New athletic facility under construction in Beaverton
Life Time will be building a new facility in Beaverton, the first for the company in the state of Oregon.
Located on the southwest corner of Cedar Hills Boulevard and Barnes Road, it will bring a country club-style, spa, family recreation, and athletic resort – as well as a co-working space – to the area.
The plan is to construct a three-story building, 140,000 square feet in size, with training and fitness areas. There will also be dedicated areas for Pilates and Barre studios, yoga, cycling, and regulation-size basketball courts, among other facilities. Surrounding the building will be a beach club, 40,000 square feet in size, with whirlpools, lounge areas, leisure and lap pools, and a bistro.
There will also be a dedicated parking structure, on top of which will Life Time Work, which will be a shared workspace for professionals, 45,000 square feet in size. This will feature a luxurious and innovative shared work environment with open desks, offices, and lounge areas.
Flyer printing is often used to provide more details about such amenities and prices of membership.
Vice President of real estate and development for Life Time, Aaron Koehler, expressed his excitement about bringing the Life Time concept to the state and adding 300 jobs to the community once the location is opened. The facility is expected to be completed in late 2021.
