New assistant city manager appointed in Beaverton

Dan Weinheimer has been hired as the new Assistant City Manager in Beaverton.

He will report to Jenny Haruyama, the current City Manager, and will oversee facilities, public works, environmental services, and finance.

Weinheimer began working for the city in January 2022 as the Interim Director for Engagement and City Services. His responsibilities included community services, arts, events, public and neighborhood involvement, and cultural inclusion.
