The Beaverton Volunteer Fair will be hosted by the Beaverton City Library next month.
The goal of this fair is to raise awareness of community and non-profit groups in the area, helping them to recruit volunteers and increase donations. This is an annual event that was started by the Leadership Beaverton class of 2016, and which the city of Beaverton’s Events Program has adopted.
The city of Beaverton hopes to engage a diverse range of business leaders and members of the community who are empowered and inspired to make improvements in their communities.
The event coordinator for the city, Natali Pardo, said that this is an ideal opportunity to connect with non-profit organizations, regardless of age. Pardo added that this event is for anyone who is looking for a chance to volunteer or is interested in learning more about local organizations. Pardo went on to say that this is also an opportunity for students who might need volunteer hours, and for adults who might want an escape from the realities of day-to-day life.
Such events can benefit from poster printing to help promote the unique opportunities they offer throughout a city.
The Beaverton Volunteer Fair will be on Saturday, June 7 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. More information for both attendees and exhibitors can be found on the Beaverton, Oregon website.
