A new senior affordable housing community will be coming to Beaverton.
The Metro Affordable Housing Bond will bring 104 housing units all of which will be affordable units. Over half of the units will be for those making below 30 percent of the median income for a family. The location of the project on 5th Street will be close to public transportation, social services, and many other amenities and will be ideal for senior members of the community who need housing options for people with lower incomes.
Such projects often turn to brochure printing to provide greater detail on such amenities and other benefits.
The developer of the project will be Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH), which has built high-quality affordable housing in the city, Southwest Portland, and Washington County. The Executive Director for CPAH, Racheal Duke, expressed the excitement her company has about this project as it will serve seniors who very much need housing, develop partnerships to support the residents, and will play a significant role in in the community.
The Housing Director at Metro, Patricia Rojas, said that investing in the seniors of the city will create more vibrant and stronger communities for all residents. Rojas expressed her pride in partnering with the city of Beaverton and others to provide seniors with stable and safe homes so they can live and thrive.
