Middleburg Heights festival set to celebrate mac and cheese
Mac and cheese may be a humble comfort food, but during a Middleburg Heights festival, it will be elevated to something special.
The Mac ‘n’ Cheese Throwdown will give some of Cleveland’s top food trucks a chance to show off their culinary skills and creativity, and the public is invited to enjoy the fruits of their labors. There will be food on sale throughout the day.
As well as the mac and cheese ,the attendees will be treated to live entertainment on the function’s Front Street Social Stage, and everyone will be asked to vote for their favorite entry. There are two different attendance options, meaning ticket holders can choose between a drive through or walk through experience. Those who chose to visit each truck in person will follow Covid prevention measures, and tickets for the function are $2, which includes one free sample. Additional tastings may be purchased separately.
The proceeds from this culinary festival will be donated to W.A.G.S. 4 Kids, which is a not-for-profit group supporting the local autistic community and other kids with special needs. A poster printing company will be able to aid in creating buzz about an event like this.
The competition will be throwing it down on June 6 at 19201 East Bagley Road. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this community event.
