Immersive Van Gogh exhibit planned for October opening

Columbus is readying for the “Immersive Van Gogh” exhibit in October, which will be open for around three months.

Designed by Massimiliano Siccardi, the exhibit’s creative lead, Immersive Van Gogh features a series of projections that animate some of the artist’s most famous work. Visitors will have the chance to experience an engrossing experience where Van Gogh’s paintings are projected on the venue’s walls, roof, and floors. Some works that form part of the exhibit include “The Potato Eaters,” “The Starry Night,” and “Sunflowers.” Music by composer Luca Longobardi will also accompany the experience.

The exhibit is currently touring the US and Canada, with shows currently displayed in Chicago and San Francisco. Plans for the Columbus show are still not finalized yet. Organizers are still deciding on the venue location for the exhibit and will provide further details at a later date. Also, events like these are usually promoted with the help of poster printing, so anyone interested can expect more promotional materials as the start date nears.

The exhibit will open on October 28 and will run until January 2, 2022. Those interested in attending can purchase tickets online, where prices range from $40 to $75. Visitors can also buy items from the event’s online gift shop. Some goods available for purchase include clothes, accessories, and home décor.
