Columbus nursery plans fall festival
A Columbus nursery and garden center has plans in the works for two days of fall-themed fun, and this October activity will boast activities for all ages.
Oakland Nurseries will celebrate October with its annual Fall Festival. This will be the 45th year that the activity has been on offer, and its agenda is filled with family friendly activities.
The organizers have put together a schedule that includes special sales events, and there will also be the excitement of door prize draws. The all-you-can-carry pumpkin market will be back, and the kids can follow the yellow brick road. Music, hay rides, bounce houses, balloon artists, food, pumpkin and face painters are all on the agenda, and a petting zoo, square dancing demos, and a Trick or Treat trail are also in the works.
One of the activities that will make its return is the popular giant pumpkin drop. This will take place on Saturday only. Fall festivals can be a lot of fun for both attendees and organizers alike. Stickers, fridge magnets and other small promotional products can be ordered from print shops for distribution during special events.
