Mother Nature offers many gifts to those who know where to look and how to use them, and Franklin Park Conservatory will be sharing some of these secrets when it hosts its Botanical Cleaning Products workshop next month.
This two-hour Columbus session is open to both the general public and members, and it will be held in the Conservatory’s Wells Barn. Nicole Tabit, who is the venue’s Adult Program Manager will be the facilitator.
A hands-on activity, it will see everyone who takes part learn how to make the most from a variety of natural and plant-based ingredients, along with vinegar. The cleaning products created may be used in place of synthetic chemicals, and both a botanical all-purpose spray and fizzy cleaning bombs will be prepared. Along with these, everyone will go home with a spray bottle mason jar they may use over and over, and a silicone mold so they can make more when they need them.
Nature-based cleaning can be both fun and good for the environment. Stationery printers can offer an assortment of green Print options, including materials that can be easily recycled or repurposed.
This all-ages introduction to crafting powerful botanical based cleaners will take place on Sunday, October 11th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. Tickets start at $48.00 each, and it will begin at 11:00 a sharp.
