Columbus event offers support in two ways

An event that combines finding a well-fitted bra with fighting breast cancer will soon be on offer in Columbus, hosted thanks to support from local fitting experts.

Fit for the Cure® is an in-person activity that will be a meaningful way for women to take a stand against breast cancer, and the monies raised will help fund education, patient services, and research. It will run throughout the day, and while appointments are encouraged, walk-ins will be welcome as well.

The fitting experts will help each customer find a bra that is both supportive and comfortable, and for each b.tempt’d or Wacoal bra sold, a $5 donation will be made to Susan G. Komen, which is the function’s charity of choice. There will be large selection to choose from, and the organizers encourage everyone to bring along their friends, mothers, and daughters and make it ladies’ day out with a purpose.

Creative fundraising can be highly effective at both raising monies and awareness. A poster printing company can prepare large visual materials for an event that show how a not-for-profit group will benefit from the generosity of its supporters.

This event, which will show some love to those battling breast cancer, is set for Friday, March 27, starting at 11:00 am. Von Maur, located at 153 Polaris Parkway, will host the event.
