Valley Stream to hold fireworks, car show, and art exhibit

Several events will be taking place in Valley Stream over the summer.

Such events can be promoted throughout a village with poster printing.

The Village of Valley Stream and North Shore Auto Body will be hosting a Fireworks Celebration next month in honor of Independence Day. The price of tickets is $12 in advance of the date and $15 at the gate. The admission price includes a live concert featuring The Gentlemen of Soul, a live DJ, activities for children, a bouncy house, and food trucks.

This celebration will be on Saturday, July 6 at Firemen’s Memorial Park, with gates opening at 6:00 pm. The concert will be from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm with fireworks to follow.

Mazda Valley Stream and the Village of Valley Stream are hosting a Classic Car Show on Rockaway Avenue during the summer from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, weather permitting. This event takes place every Friday night except for July 5. A special evening will be the Mayor’s Trophy Night on August 8, with the last night of the Classic Car Show on August 30.

There will be an exhibit featuring the works of artists from the Silver Threads Art Program and the Adult Art Program of Valley Stream at the Valley Stream Community Center from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 16. A reception and refreshments will follow.
