Currently, those working in technology, as well as district administrators, are engaged in the development of this initiative. Mark Onorato, the Director of Technology and Data, is coordinating this training.
The Abii Robot will be used as an artificial intelligence learning tool that will be able to provide academic support of a personalized nature to students. One classroom at every school involved will be involved in the pilot so that educators will have the chance to assess the impact of the pilot program on learning outcomes and student engagement.
Dr. Unal Karakas, Superintendent of Schools, said that:
“These pilot programs allow us to thoughtfully explore how emerging technologies can support our teachers and meet the diverse needs of our learners.”
He added that one of the many ways that the district is preparing its schools and students for learning in the future is through the Abii Robot. Local Print shops can help inform families and residents about such programs and their impact with Flyers, Booklets, and other printed materials.
Vision 2030 is in its third year, and focuses on the strategic integration of artificial intelligence into education, the engagement of students in the curriculum, and the expansion of targeted pilot projects across schools, all of which are aligned with the main goals of the vision of the district.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Booklets Get a Free Quote for Print
