Progress is being made on bringing a mixed-use development of two buildings to the village of Floral Park. This may be of interest to those in nearby Valley Stream looking for new housing.
There will be a mix of 96 units with one bedroom and 15 units with two bedrooms in the first building with commercial space spanning 6,000 square feet and underground parking for 188 vehicles. It will be on Jericho Turnpike between South Tyson and Van Siclen Avenues and will replace some buildings already on the site. This building will be called The Stella.
Thirty-six apartments will be for seniors in the second building. It will be behind Jericho Turnpike and between Van Buren and Van Siclen Avenues and will have 20 units with one bedroom and 16 units with two bedrooms. It will be called Van Siclen Lofts and will have parking on site for 56 vehicles.
The Stella’s amenities will include a golf simulator, multi-purpose and conference rooms, a fitness center, billiards room, a spa, and a roof deck on the second floor. Amenities at the Van Siclen Lofts will include a space for a gum and roof deck on the second floor.
Brochure printing can be used to provide more details about the features and amenities of such developments to attract residents and businesses.
Van Siclen Lofts is scheduled to be completed within 12 to14 months and The Stella is expected to take 16 to 24 months to complete.
