Scout Design Shop, which is located not far from Valley Stream, recently announced that it will once again be hosting its annual Holiday Ornaments craft night, and everyone is welcome to participate.
During the first of the ornament-making parties, guests will be making an assortment of felt sea animals. The facilitators will provide all of the instruction needed to craft the decorations, which can be given as a present, tied onto gifts, hung on the tree, or added to holiday décor. They can be customized in any way the maker likes, though they will start out with the same basic color. An area printer will be able to use wide format printing to craft Banners and other decorations that can be used to help add the festive area during an event like this.
As they work, the attendees will be able to socialize and enjoy the refreshments that will be on offer. Those who would like to sip on a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail are welcome to bring these along if they wish. People are welcome to register singly, as a couple or as part of a larger group, although, according to the organizers, these events have tended to fill up early in previous years.
Scout Design Shop, which can be found at 810 West Beech Street in Long Beach, will serve as the location for this night of crafting. It will be held on December 8, and more information about the activity can be found on the organizer’s website.
