This September, Valley Stream residents and visitors alike are invited to an event that will bid a fond farewell to summer and a warm welcome to the cooler months of autumn.
During Valley Stream Community Fest, there will be plenty going on, with something for all ages. There will be live entertainment as well as an assortment of food service vendors on site. The crowd can browse through the displays that will be set up by area businesses and organizations, and there will also be an assortment of crafts and other handmade items to view. An variety of cultural displays will be set up, and it is expected that it will attract more than 10,000 people.
The organizers of the festival have put out a call to local companies, groups and individuals who may be interested in setting up a booth or other display.
