A new retail establishment is now open in the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream.

Primark sells the latest fashion trends. Its store in the Green Acres Mall covers over 33,000 square feet.

Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US, said that as the brand has established itself in many communities in the United States, its reception has been extremely positive. He said that many new customers are looking to see what the store has to offer so that the team has expressed its excitement about the many new stores that the chain expects to open this summer.

Primark is an international retailer having opened its first store in Dublin, Ireland in 1969, trading under the Pennys name. Its first store opened in England in Derby in 1974. It now employs over 70,000 people in 16 countries in the United States and Europe with over 400 stores, and is looking to expand into new and existing markets. Its goal is to reach 530 stores by the end of 2026.

The goal of Primark is to provide choices that are affordable for everyone, from high-quality daily essentials to standout style across men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, as well as homeware, accessories, and beauty items. It also is working to make fashion that is more sustainable and affordable for everyone.
