Hearing loss can present many challenges for individuals who live with it, and a Valley Stream area function will seek to help make their daily lives a little bit easier.
Guests who attend ‘Wine and Chill’, which will be taking place in Floral Park, will be treated to a tasting of a variety of wines and an assortment of accompaniments. The monies raised through the afternoon will be used to help the Lend and Ear Foundation’s efforts to supply hearing aids to those who need them.
The occasion, which is open to people who are age 21 and over, will offer a selection of wines with fruit, meats and cheeses that have been chosen to pair with them. Along with the food and beverages, an assortment of prize draws and raffles have been planned for the occasion. There will be lots of time to socialize and meet new friends, and the ticket price for the function is $35 each.
