The 5th annual Community Fest is taking place next month, presented by the Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce.
Organizers of this event are still accepting applications from vendors. All vendors are given a 10 x 10-foot space, for which fees are $25 for members of the Chamber of Commerce and those with businesses on Rockaway Avenue, and $50 for non-Chamber members. There is no cost for community organizations, while food trucks pay $100.
The festival is an opportunity for local businesses to make their names better known in the village, and for community organizations to provide information about their programs and services.
Sponsorships are available for $500 and $1,000, and in return sponsors get a mention on all Print advertising such as Flyers. The top fee sponsor will also be allowed to display a company banner at the event.
In addition to vendors, there will be musical entertainment, rides and games, and food for purchase. In past years, there have been appearances by cartoon characters such as Winnie the Pooh and balloon twisting demonstrations.
Flyers will no doubt be distributed all over Valley Steam leading up to the festival.
