Tree lighting continues the Christmas celebrations

Nassau County has plenty of celebrations happening all of next month that will get residents in the Christmas mood. One will be the Tree Lighting Festival at the Life Lutheran Church in Old Westbury that is sure to attract visitors from all over the county.

The festival evolves around the lighting of a 75-foot Oriental spruce tree. The tree will be festooned with approximately 8,000 lights. In addition, there will be plenty of food and drink available for purchase, including baked goods, soup, and hot pretzels. Treats will include cotton candy and hot chocolate.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Rachel Kurtz and the Life Day School Singers.

This is sure to get the children, and the adults, excited about the holiday. Visitors can also return the next day to visit with St. Nicholas, who will be appearing at the church at 10:00 AM.

Events like this often purchase printed items such as Banners to decorate their venue. They also may invest in Flyers to be distributed throughout Nassau County, including to nearby Valley Stream.

The Tree Lighting Festival will be held at the Life Lutheran Church in Old Westbury on December 3 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. The musical entertainment will begin at 4:00 pm and the tree lighting will take place at 5:30 pm. To learn more, call 516-333-3355.
