Special award given to employee at Valley Stream hospital

Patricia McColley, a member of the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce, has been nominated by the Chamber for Business Person of the Year for 2022, for her work with Long Island Jewish Valley Stream (LIJVS) Hospital.

McColley expressed her gratitude to the Chamber for recognizing the work she has done at LIJVS Hospital. Announcements of such awards are often made known throughout an area with flyer printing.

McColley began her career in 2012 at Northwell Health for South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore as their patient experience manager. She then became the program manager on the corporate community relations team at Northwell four years later. In 2019, she was asked to help build relationships for LIJVS Hospital and the communities it serves, while also helping to lead larger events for the corporate team

Lisa DelliPizzi, president of the Chamber, working with other members and previous honorees, felt that McColley was the most qualified member of the Chamber to receive this honor.

Executive director of LIJVS Hospital, Jason Tan, noted that McColley informs the hospital of new ways to meet the changing needs of the community, and also shares and advocates for all the great work being carried out at the hospital. He said she genuinely loves the community and is deserving of this award
