The Great Neck Street Fair is taking place next month on Long Island.
This popular festival usually attracts between 5,000 and 7,000 visitors from all over the island, including those from Valley Stream. Organizers no doubt attract some of those people due to investing in advertising materials such as Flyers that can be inexpensively and easily distributed in the area.
There are expected to be between 100 and 150 vendors from all over Long Island participating in this year’s fair, including arts and crafts vendors, gift vendors, local service businesses, and community organizations and charities. Spaces are still available and range in price from $90 for arts and crafts and charities, up to $210 for food and service businesses.
Items for sale are likely to include handmade jewelry, clothing, paintings, and design accessories. Local charities and community organizations will be providing the public with information on their programs and services. Food vendors will also be selling a variety of meals and snacks.
The fair will also be providing some children’s activities, which may include bounce houses and face painting.
The Great Neck Street Fair will be held in Great Neck Village on May 21 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To find out more about this event, or to become a vendor, call 516-442-6000.
