New apartment and retail complex in Valley Stream area

What was once the Mangrove Feather factory on Broadway in Lynbrook is being torn down for the construction of The Langdon – a project that will also see a warehouse on Saperstein Plaza razed.

This will be a multifamily project with 201 units, consisting of 35 apartments with two bedrooms, 111 apartments with one bedroom, and 55 studio apartments. Residents of nearby Valley Stream looking for updated homes may be interested in this development.

The development will also have parking onsite for 205 vehicles and retail space on the ground floor that will span 2,000 square feet. More information about the features and amenities of such projects is often provided with brochure printing. It is being built by Breslin Realty Development Corp. in partnership with Fields Grade Development.

Alan Beach, mayor of Lynbrook, said that the project is welcomed by the community, which is thrilled about the commencement of construction.

Chief development officer of Breslin, David Orwasher, expressed his excitement about bringing this project to the community. Noting that it was a high-quality project, Orwasher added that his company is proud and happy to be contributing to the revitalization of the downtown walking area of the Village of Lynbrook, and that this project will be valuable for the residents.

The Langdon is expected to be completed in the summer of next year.
