Jason Tan, RN, has been appointed as the new executive director of Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Valley Stream Hospital.
Tan has been with LIJ Valley Stream for seven years holding various leadership roles. He has served as deputy executive director for the past two years. He has played a significant role in the transition of the hospital into a major destination for acute care and in overseeing the hospital’s response to the health crisis of the past two years. Creating or appointing new positions often results in the need for business card printing services.
David Seligman, the previous executive director of the hospital, said that Tan has the dedication, demeanor, and experience to lead the hospital through its next phase pf growth and advancement. He added that Tan has extensive administrative and clinical knowledge that has provided leadership to almost every department in the hospital. He expressed his confidence that Tan will be able to set a strategy that will be able to support the healthcare needs of those in southeastern Queens and southern Nassau County.
Tan said that during his time at LIJ Valley Stream for the past seven years that he has been able to see the transformation of the hospital in a center of excellence for many disciplines of health care. He said that he is looking forward to building on its achievements and creating may more opportunities for the future.
