Brooklyn mortgage company comes to Valley Stream
Eastern Union Funding recently leased a 1,500-square-foot office space in Valley Stream, with hopes of better serving the growing Long Island market and capitalizing on its potential.
According to the Brooklyn-based mortgage broker’s president, Ira Zlotowitz:
This is a proclamation he seems to be sticking to, based on the size and scale of his investment.
The brokerage will be located at 181 South Franklin Ave. and will be staffed by 15 individual brokers and headed up by both Senior Managing Directors at the Firm. Long Island lenders are already celebrating the move, and many report that they are eager to work with such a fast-growing and highly reputed company.
Zlotowitz’s firm was named one of New York City’s fastest growing businesses by Crain’s New York Business, and has seen revenues climb 253% in the past three years. Many attribute this to Zlotowitz’s approach, which he describes as being “less like a broker and more like an advisor”.
The Valley Stream office will join established Eastern Union locations in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Monsey, Howell, and Bethesda, Maryland, and will bring a welcome influx of business to the local corporate landscape, all of which means that local print companies may be tasked with a variety of business card printing projects as the newcomers filter into the area
