The Long Beach Arts and Crafts Festival is taking place next month for two days.
The night before the festival, on July 8, there will be a fireworks extravaganza beginning at 8:00 PM; the date in case it rains is July 9. Music will be provided during the display by New York Minute.
The festival will take place on the Long Beach Boardwalk between Edwards and Long Beach Boulevards. It is set to feature over 200 vendors who will be selling arts and crafts, showcasing local non-profits or selling food. Many of the vendors, especially artisans, will be providing demonstrations of their skills. Artisans are expected to be selling handmade items such as jewelry, ceramics, paintings and clothing.
There will also be musical entertainment which will take place on Riverside Boulevard at 12:00 and 3:00 PM each day. Some of the confirmed artists include Elvis impersonator Pat Perrone and the band On the Flip Side.
A food court will also be set up.
Many of the vendors, who will come from all over the area including nearby Valley Stream, might decide to hand out Promotional Products such as Pens to people who stop by their booths.
The Long Beach Arts and Crafts Festival will be held from July 9 to 10 on the Long Beach Boardwalk. Admission is free of charge. Call 516-431-3890 for more information.
