Rockville Centre welcomes return of Snowman Hunt

The Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce runs initiatives throughout the year, and one that will take place this upcoming holiday season will encourage everyone to show some love to local small businesses.

The Chamber will once again be adding an extra festive touch to the holiday season with its annual Snowman Hunt. Its official kickoff is scheduled for Small Business Saturday, and everyone can get involved.

To participate, the public can look for the “snowman” decal that will be displayed by the establishments that have signed on for the “hunt”. This will help to build anticipation, and maps will be distributed that indicate the location of each shop, service provider or eatery that is participating. On select Saturdays, a snowman mascot will be circulating in the crowd of shoppers in the community's downtown, and he will pose for photo ops and meet the kids. More information will be released as it becomes available.
