Working with fresh flowers provides a way to get in touch with nature, and a Rockville Centre floral design expert will be sharing their knowledge and skills in a hands-on workshop.
Rockville Centre for Continuing Education is offering a class that will teach the basics of floral design and also how to care for their creation so it keeps looking great for as long as possible. Christin Nash will be the facilitator for the activity, and advance registration is mandatory.
The attendees will use the seasonal flowers provided, as well as shears, floral Tape and a vase, to create their own custom bouquet. Everyone will learn how easy it can be to create a professional looking arrangement, and at the end of the class, they will be able to take theirs home with them. A $25.00 materials fee will be collected before the workshop begins. It will be held in room 1402 of South Side High School.
