Backyard Players and Friends works to ensure everyone in the community feels valued, and it has a special activity on deck in Rockville Centre in late April to celebrate Earth Day with some hands-on fun.
The group has an event scheduled that will offer a live animal experience, as well as the chance to get creative. The registration fee is $30, which includes all materials.
The afternoon will open with a live animal meet-and-greet courtesy of Sweetbriar Nature Center. The presenter will introduce the animals and share facts about them with the group. After this, it will be time for the attendees to stretch their creative muscles by preparing and decorating a birdhouse that invites their feathered friends to their garden to stay and raise a family. The group's community art project will be unveiled, and the items on display will be auctioned off from April 25 until May 8.
An inclusive community makes sure everyone feels welcome, whatever their level of ability may be. A company that offers specialized printing services such as Business Cards that include Braille, signage that designates sensitive friendly zones, and paper Copies of verbal information for those who are hearing impaired will be happy to help.
Next Saturday, April 25 will see Backyard Players and Friends host its Earth Day Celebration at 215 North Long Beach Road. Its website offers a registration link.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Copies
