Rockville Centre sees return of spooky celebration

A night of frightful yet family-friendly fun will help Rockville Centre gear up for the Halloween season, with two different options for guests to enjoy.

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) will welcome the return of its Spooky Fest event. Tickets are $22 for the non-spooky attractions pass and $27 for ones that include the “milder” displays, along with access to the Spooky Woods walk.

The non-spooky attractions will see visitors spend time with the friendly residents of an enchanted forest, and there will be face painters, fortune tellers, music, and an arts and crafts area. The Spooky Woods will be filled with costumed characters, including zombies and other creepy creatures, in a variety of scenes.

The planners of this yearly celebration are interested in hearing from any area business or individuals interested in getting involved as a vendor or volunteer. Event organizers often choose to have branded clothing prepared by a company that crafts custom Corporate Gifts to distribute to the volunteers at an activity so they will be easy to find in the crowd.

Long Island families are invited to be part of the Spooky Fest, which will add an extra touch of excitement to Halloween. It will take place on October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and again on the three Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays after this, beginning at 6:00 pm each evening.
