Rockville Centre Library organizes Noon Years Eve
Like other venues of its kind, the Rockville Centre Public Library serves as a hub for community activities, and one on its agenda will give every in the family time to celebrate the arrival of 2026.
The venue’s Helen Kraus Room will be transformed into party hub for its family-friendly “Noon Year’s Eve.” It is set to run for one hour, and anyone in Grade 3 or under will need to attend with an adult.
Guests at the celebration will be treated to snacks to munch on while they mix and mingle, and they can also make a craft and enjoy the music. As an extra touch, there will be a countdown complete with a balloon drop.
To help make the function a success, the planners are seeking willing hands. Youth in Grades 7 to 12 are encouraged to volunteer, and one of the activities they assist with may be firing a confetti cannon.
A special annual event may call for custom decor, and a banner printing company can provide a range of options, many of which will be reusable and budget friendly.
The Rockville Centre Public Library will ring in 2026 a day early with this event set for Tuesday, December 30. Its website will be updated with a signup link for both attendees and volunteers on December 23.
