This September, Rockville Centre will be rocking out with a battle of the bands that will celebrate three decades of music, and local businesses can show their support and gain publicity.
The Battle of the Decades will showcase music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s while raising money for the Ted Fass Music scholarship. The Madison Theatre at Molloy University will welcome the competition, which is being billed as being the “ultimate throwback.”
Three bands are set to take to the stage, and the Ted Fass Music Scholarship will be presented to this year's recipient. The high-energy event is sure to have everyone on their feet dancing and is expected to attract a large crowd.
To make it easier for the local business community to get involved, the organizers are offering several sponsorship packages. These start at the “Bravo” level at $500 and then options are available all the way up to the “Legend” level at $5,000. There is also an opportunity for those who would like to donate items such as branded Corporate Gifts in kind, or engage in other creative ways of supporting the celebration.
