As nature wakes up for another spring, some of the charges at a Rockville Centre area attraction will be welcoming guests for an annual event.
The turtles at the Center for Science, Teaching and Learning (CSTL) are waking up after hibernation throughout the winter, and the public has been invited to stop by and see them. It will be an activity that combines learning with fun, and the admission for the activity is $16 each.
Once they have arrived at the CSTL and put their self-supplied mask on, the ticket holders will be able to enter the facility and walk through the displays and attractions that will be set up. They will be able to meet the turtles, salamanders, frogs, and other amphibians close up, and learn more about how they have adapted to survive through the winter months. The whole family can enjoy the event, and there will be lots to see and do.
One of the parts of a special activity like this that helps to make it even more educational is the signage chosen by the organizers. A banner printing company will be able to help, and it will have an assortment of items on offer at a variety of price points.
The CSTL turtles will be greeting another spring on May 8. The event will start at 2:00 pm, and tickets for the experience can be purchased now.
