The Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce is putting together the Food and Wine Festival. The afternoon event puts together vintage sampling, gourmet delicacies, and live entertainment for an adults-only day of fun.
Visitors have two options for tickets: General Admission and VIP. The biggest difference between the two are the extra Promotional Products provided to VIPs.
The higher ticket class comes with a free gift bag with items provided by many different Chamber of Commerce members, as well as special offers that can be used at Rockville Centre’s Restaurant Week, which immediately follows the festival.
Both tickets come with unlimited samples of locally sourced, seasonal meals prepared by chefs from the area’s top restaurants. While attendees have a nibble, they can partake of several different wines, and beers provided by local wineries and breweries. While a general admission provides only five tastings, VIP visitors will receive eight samples from the comfort of a special seating area. Additionally, a live band will perform and other live entertainers will also take the stage. The itinerary for entertainment has yet to be announced.
The Rockville Centre Food and Wine Festival will take place on September 11 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm on Front St. across from the LIRR Station.
