Rockville Centre area event to help give bullies the boot

A Rockville Centre event will help to make sure that all Long Island kids can enjoy a childhood free of bullying, and it promises to be an evening of fun and education.

The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying is working to create an environment that discourages bullying behaviors. Moms, dads, caregivers, and anyone else who attends the celebration will both show their support for those who have been bullied and also demonstrate that these sorts of behaviors are unacceptable.

Guests at the fundraiser will be welcome to fill their plates at the buffet, and there will also be an open bar. Prize draws, including raffles and an even split, are on the agenda, and Decadia, which harks from Long Island, has been booked to provide the entertainment.

The host of this special evening noted that one of its mandates is to spread awareness about bullying. Pins, awareness ribbons, Brochures, leaflets, and promotional Pens are just some of the items that can help to spread the word about a cause, and a printing services company can supply these, along with many other items.

Wantagh’s Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall is set to welcome ticket holders for this fundraiser, which will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 19. The doors will open at 6:30 pm.
