HydroChic Swim and Active Wear, a business based in New Rochelle with locations around the world, recently announced that a portion of the proceeds of its sales this month will go to a nonprofit organization.
The beneficiary is Sharsharet, which helps young women and their families facing breast and ovarian cancer throughout all stages of the disease. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
HydroChic sells swimwear made of sun protective fabrics. All of its products are designed for sports both in and out of the water.
Sara Wolf, who is cofounder of HydroChic, said that in addition to donating proceeds from the business this month, the company will also be giving away fitness trackers during every week of October. A mastectomy option will also be offered with all HydroChic swimwear.
She added that her company is committed to helping all women feel and look their best with both functional and fashionable active and swimwear. She is hoping that their drive this month will make women aware that they need to take care of themselves.
HydroChic might benefit from the assistance of a printing company that can create Flyers and other materials to be used in its various locations to let is customers know about its efforts to support Sharsharet, as well as Breast Cancer Awareness Month in general.
