Ground was recently broken for a new residential community in New Rochelle located along Long Island Sound.
The community is expected to cost $100m and have 72 luxury units. To be called WatermarkPointe, the community will have nine four-story buildings, the residences of which will be condominiums, and have access to a private beachfront and panoramic views of the water.
There will be two-bedroom units with a den and three-bedroom units. Each will have gourmet kitchens with islands and top-of-the-line appliances and open-plan great rooms with fireplaces. There will be terraces 30 feet wide along the great room, so each resident will have views of the waterfront.
There will also be an indoor parking garage, a state-of-the-art exercise room, and a clubhouse with a large-screen television, bar, fireplace, and comfortable seating.
The developer is National Realty & Development Corp. Noam Bramson, Mayor of New Rochelle, said the city is looking forward to being able to strengthen its relationship with the developer, as it has already several projects underway and is proposing more new ones as well.
National Realty & Development Corp. said that 25 units in the first phase have already been sold. This has accelerated the second phase, which will be made available to the market this winter.
