The readers of 914INC. have named the LaPenta School of Business at Iona University in New Rochelle as the best business education program in Westchester County for 2013.

The editors of 914INC. stated that the LaPenta School of Business is devoted to ensuring the success of its students and offers a wide range of majors for both undergraduate and graduate students. Among these programs is an MBA with nine different areas of concentration. The school is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, which demonstrates the high quality of its programming and faculty.
Iona University has also appeared in other top rankings across the country in recent months. It was placed at #66 in a new ranking of the 2024 Best Colleges in America that determines its rankings on graduate salaries and student outcomes across the country. It was also ranked at the top in New York among the top 10 Catholic schools in the United States and for student experience.
President of Iona University, Seamus Carey, Ph.D., said that there is a sense of the transformative power of education across the university. He added that the university was founded in 1941 and has an intellectual tradition rarely found in other institutions of higher education.
