Several revised and new master’s degree programs in education have been added to the offerings at Iona University in New Rochelle.
These programs are designed to help alleviate the shortage of teachers across the country by providing greater flexibility in job seeking, and are in such areas as bilingual education, special education, and literacy, all of which are in demand.
The programs include a Master of Science in Education with specializations in Special Education for all grade levels and Literacy for all grade levels. Iona has also launched a Bilingual Extension in School Psychology and Bilingual Extension for Teachers. These programs will enable graduates of Iona to work in grades from pre-kindergarten to grade 12, and so facilitate the shifting from one school to another as per the requirements of New York State.
Such programs often look to brochure printing services to provide more details about courses, requirements, certification, and other relevant information.
These programs will be offered on campus as well as online and in hybrid mode. They blend practical applications with theoretical knowledge to ensure that educators will be able to make an impact in their field. Those who are currently educators or initially certified are ideally suited to these programs if they are looking to work with and support students requiring specialized education services.
Applications for are currently open for programs starting in the fall.
