Major drug store to move into new development in New Rochelle

CVS Pharmacy will be moving from its current location in New Rochelle to a new retail space at The Rockwell which is currently under construction. It will take up 13,200 square feet of the ground floor retail space that will have a total of 22,000 square feet.

The Rockwell is a mixed-used housing and retail development being built by YoungCraft, a real estate development company. It is also building another such development across the street, to be called The Illustrator, construction on which is scheduled to begin in September.

Robert Young, partner of YoungCraft, expressed his excitement about CVS being the first tenant in this new retail space. His team worked closely with CVS to ensure there was enough parking close to the front entrance with 63 spaces, on-site truck loading, and a drive-through window that was easily accessible.

Banner printing at such sites can provide residents with more information about such developments and keep them informed of its progress.

Noam Bramson, mayor of New Rochelle, commented that the continued presence of CVS in the city and as anchor for The Rockwell is beneficial for the area and the overall development plans of the city.

The Rockwell was named for Norman Rockwell, a famous artist from New Rochelle. It will have a fitness center and community lounge for the 114 luxury apartments.
