Several events will be taking place at Iona College in New Rochelle in January.
There will be two Graduate Information Sessions held in January. These will enable graduate students who are interested in business and the arts and sciences to visit campus, meet with people from the admissions office, and get answers to questions about graduate degrees, certificate programs, and the admissions process.
These sessions will be held on Wednesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 9, both from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Admissions Welcome Center in McSpedon Hall. Students often take away various materials from such events, often created by campus Print shops.
A new gallery exhibition will be opening at the Iona College Arts Center. Elena Kalman will be showing ‘Plastic Paradise’, the themes of which will highlight her interpretations of the depletion of natural resources, how the production of plastic has proliferated in the United States and around the world, and how the careless disposal of plastics cause pollution.
There will be an opening reception on Sunday, January 26 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and an artist gallery talk on Monday, January 27 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Both will be held at the Brother Kenneth Chapman Gallery on the college campus. The exhibit will run until Thursday, February 27.
