Local women looking for inspiration and empowerment are in luck, as a summit focused on empowering local women is coming to town.
The Rockland Business Women’s Network is preparing to host the first Women’s Success Summit, which will stop near New City in a few weeks. The summit will bring women from New City and the surrounding area together to take steps toward setting and achieving their goals.
It is an ideal setting for businesswomen from all backgrounds and experience levels to meet with industry leaders to learn the necessary steps to advance their companies and careers. The sessions will cover the necessary angles for career advancement. Business card printing is an excellent way to share contact information with other like-minded people at such events to begin building a network.
Attendees will learn about the resources for scoring their dream job, how to negotiate salary, tips for leadership, and presentations from keynote speakers. The event will also act as a pop-up career fair, where recruiters can find talented individuals to team up with for a successful business venture. A raffle will cap off the summit.
The Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack will host the women’s summit on Thursday, January 23. Doors will open at 10:00 AM, and the event will end at 4:30 PM. Tickets are $20 for non-members and can be purchased online.
