Outdoor adventure experience brings nature to New City

An event is welcoming new members to an exclusive group of nature lovers in the New City area, and residents are encouraged to enroll.

The New Member Weekend, hosted by the AMC Harriman Outdoor Center, will kick off in a few weeks. It will provide a long weekend of outdoor activities and adventures for registered guests. The event aims to help individuals in the New City region to reconnect with the outdoors, and escape from technology and daily life's grind.

New and existing members can attend and participate in the weekend event’s schedule, which will include hiking, paddling, swimming, and relaxing. Evenings will include campfires, singing, and meals around the fire. Banner printing is a colorful and memorable way to welcome attendees to such outdoor events.

The Harriman Program Committee Volunteer Leaders will lead the program. The ticket price includes equipment for paddling and yoga courses. Interested parties are encouraged to check the weather for the weekend before leaving home to ensure comfortable clothing and sun protection. Accommodation will also be available for the weekend, with tents and camping equipment provided for free.

The Stephen and Betsy Corman AMC Harriman Outdoor Center will host the outdoor weekend experience starting on Friday, August 9, with guests welcome to arrive at 3:00 PM. All guests must register in advance, and tickets start at $150 per camper.
