The Cirlin Family in New City has been sharing its beautifully crafted display with the local community for more than five years, with this year being no exception.
Just as in years past, the family has created a display this year despite the hardships brought on by the pandemic. The money collected is donated towards People of People of Rockland and Angel Flight North East.
Speaking to Patch.com, Gary Cirlin stated he found it easier in some ways to put this year’s display together, since he usually travels a lot for work, but he has found himself with a lot of free time this year. People have to enjoy the displays from their cars this year, which creates a challenge as people have to get out of their cars to make donations. Charity displays like this one are always grateful to receive Corporate Gifts and donations.
Most of the money is donated to the non-profit Angel Flight North East, an organization that provides air transportation to people who require medical services. Mr. Cirlin stressed that the organization has had a particularly challenging year and that it was important the family helped it.
The Cirlins decided that a good way to make it easier to make donations is by opening a Venmo account and letting people scan the barcodes to make their donations.
