New City hospice to host golf event

A hospice center in New City will put on a golf tournament in mid-June.

This will be the second golf event of the season, the first having been yesterday, May 10. The event is set up to benefit United Hospice, which relies on donations from the community.

The venue, Paramount Country Club, is a private club and golf course, as well as a wedding venue. Due to the event being non-profit, it is likely those who are not members of the club will be allowed to participate. Such events often use Signs printed with the organizer’s Logo Design to direct participants to the right area of the club.

United Hospice has registration for the event available through its website, and is also offering people the option to donate to the center if they cannot attend but still wish to help.

Registration fees range from $20 to $7,500, with each price coming with different benefits and items. Some of the donations of $250 and over allow buyers to get ads printed in Golf Journal, or access tickets to the raffle for various prizes. Those who choose to donate $20 or $25 can get access to pre-game events like a putt-off, or items like a Mulligan (a free stroke).

The event is scheduled for June 14, starting at 9:00 am.
