Motorcycle ride delivers adventure to New City

A long-distance motorcycle riding event is stopping in New City next month, and local bikers are invited to fuel their motorcycles and join in the festivities.

The Ramapo 500 will begin in a few weeks, with bikers coming together to participate in a 500-mile ride for a memorable motorcycle tour. The planned ride will cover 500 miles, allowing local bikers to rev their engines and explore more of New York State. The course will take participants through country scenery along back roads.

The event will provide access to free camping spots and a swimming pool, allowing participants to catch some sleep and refresh in cooler waters before hitting the road. A dinner will also be held and provided to registered guests at the campground, along with a breakfast the following morning and awards for the motorcycle owners. Printing services are vital when planning routes and providing maps to participants in such adventures.

The in-person motorcycle ride promises to build camaraderie with like-minded individuals and impressive views of nature along the chosen route. The event is geared toward experienced riders and will use public roads from the New City region to the campground.

Riders will meet at the Congers Veterans Memorial Association on July 13th at 7:00 AM before beginning the 500-mile course. Tickets start at $55 per rider and can be purchased online.
