Womens success recognized at annual breakfast

The Women of Achievement Breakfast will be held by the Rockland Business Women's Network (RBWN) later this month in Suffern at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This is sufficiently close to Nanuet that women from the town are sure to want to attend the annual event.

Executive Director of Child Care Resources of Rockland, Jane Brown, and CEO of Bon Secours Charity Health System/Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Mary Leahy, will receive the Women of Achievement Awards for 2018. They are being recognized for the contributions of the community of Rockland County and their outstanding professional accomplishments. COO of Caribbean Food Delights, Simone Hosang, will receive the Service Woman of the Year Award for her work on behalf of the network.

North Rockland High School senior Sanjala Malla and Clarkstown High School South senior Sara Ferraro will receive a scholarship of $1,000 each. Another $1,000 scholarship will be given to Rose Fein of Rockland Community College.

President of RBWN, Nancy Seeback, commented that in addition to the network supporting business women in the county since 1979, the emphasis this year is to focus on the strengths of the members individually and collectively.

The breakfast will be held beginning at 8:00 am on Tuesday, June 12. Print shops can be used to create various types of printed materials to announce such awards, recognitions, and scholarships.
